Centenary Ball FAQs

Centenary Ball FAQs

Lydia Griffiths4 May - 19:23

See below for all our Centenary Ball FAQs.

What can I expect on the night?

You can expect a ball and a celebration of Mellor Lacrosse Club's wonderful 100 year history! Starter and main courses will be served at your table, with an optional artisan ice cream dessert available to collect. Speeches during the meal will be followed on stage by our fantastic 6 piece funk and soul band, Yubaba.

What time should I arrive?

You are invited to arrive at 7pm but bars in the clubhouse and the marquee will serve drinks from 6pm onwards.

Where in the marquee can I find my table?

Guests for our Sponsored and Centenary tables will be offered the opportunity to choose the location of their table. This will happen once the layout of the marquee is finalised and you will receive communication via email to do so. On the day there will be a table layout plan, on display, outside the marquee.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal, with a minimum of suit and tie.

Where can I park?

The marquee will take up the entire Sports Club car park and the driveway will be restricted to use by staff only. Unfortunately, this means that we're unable to provide onsite parking. Guests are encouraged to pre-book taxis and where possible pickup and drop-off on Knowle Road.

What if I can't come, or someone on my table can't come?

If you bought a table and have not allocated all your seats, or have a guest drop out in the future, please contact us to view our list of reserves.

Do you need volunteers to help?

Yes, we do! Any amount of help with table setup and theming of the marquee on Friday 13th/Saturday 14th, or help with clearing up on the Sunday 15th, would be very much appreciated.

I have another question!

For any other questions, please email mellorlax100@gmail.com

We hope you're excited! Not long to go now!
