A dominate display this morning and we're into the cup final! 17-1 final score, a reflection of the game. A fair result.
There has to be credit shown for our opposition this morning who fought, till the final whistle, and to their keeper, who wore much of what we threw at them.
But this was our victory with each and every one of the squad playing their part. Yes it was the older boys who executed exactly what we wanted at the start, to lay the foundations, meaning we could use all the squad. The goals scored a mixture of carrying through what we ran through in training and some with individual flare.
We can enjoy this win, but we know we'll face tougher opposition in the final, Stockport! who beat Timperley/BE 12 v 7 in their semi-final.
So, bring it on! play the way we did today, and we'll be ready for the battle come finals day.
