Are Stockport really that much better than us?? Well twice we've played them this season and our performances each time suggest they are. But it's more a case of us being poor on the day rather than them being better.

They did the basics better than we did. Simple as that.

Pick up the ground ball, value the ball, move the ball, score. They scored pretty much all of their 15 goals by doing this, but guess what, our 4 goals were scored the exact same way, we just didn't do it enough.

Maybe this was an away match too many, the energy levels looked pretty low throughout the match. A home match next week, a rarity. We'll bounce back, we've done it before and we'll do it again.

It's a long old season, results like today's, keep us humble, make us more determined.
