Due to the weather, only playing every other Sunday and the opposition cancelling twice, the girls haven't played since October.

First game against Stockport was a shaky start, forgivable having not played for so long. The first half was fairly close but we were up by two goals (4-2), the second half saw the Mellor girls take hold and the game finished 3-9 to Mellor, a great away win!

The second game against Timperley was more fluent as our girls had settled into their stride leaving the field at half time 5-3 up. The second half saw another 7 goals for Mellor scored by six different players, Timperley lost momentum and the game ended 12-6 to us.

Great to see 9 different players make the score sheet, some solid saves from Aimee Rogerson supported by the defence and welcome back following a long injury to Mary McMylor.
