finished playing in 1978.
Away from the playing field Arthur was a stalwart of the Club and is currently the
longest serving Treasurer and President and loyally served the club in a variety of
roles for a combined 22 years:

Our longest serving Treasurer from 1961 to 1977
Our longest serving President from 1978 to 1983
Arthur was extremely proud that his family are still involved in Mellor Lacrosse as this
was such an important part of his life.
On behalf of the club, we'd like to pass on our sincere condolences to Arthur's family.
For those who would like to attend Arthur’s funeral, it will be held at St Thomas’s
Church, Mellor at 12.30pm on Tuesday 16th December, followed by the opportunity
